My Personal Story

As a Singaporean personal assistant, I've spent more than ten years navigating the world alongside my boss. Through sleepless nights preparing for meetings, countless hours spent troubleshooting travel mishaps, and the emotional toll of being thousands of miles from loved ones during important life events, this journey has transformed me.

The missed birthdays and holidays blend together now, but they've shaped my unique perspective on what it means to live between worlds. Despite the challenges—the 3AM calls, the last-minute flight changes, and the constant need to be "on"—there's an indescribable fulfillment in being the person who makes impossible things happen.

The Traveling Assistant was born from my desire to document these bittersweet experiences and share a perspective few get to witness: the vulnerability, privilege, exhaustion, and wonder that come with this extraordinary life.

My Tireless Journey

What began as a job has evolved into an exhausting passion for observing and documenting the nuances of global travel. From London penthouses where I've spent countless sleepless nights preparing documents, to summer homes on the Amalfi Coast where the breathtaking views barely register through my jetlagged haze,

I've had the privilege—and burden—of experiencing luxury from behind the scenes. The constant packing and unpacking, the endless flight connections, and the perpetual state of being needed have left me with insights that come at a personal cost few understand.
